As dog owners ourselves, we were deeply saddened to hear about Brooklinn Khoury. Our dog put down after enduring years of abuse and neglect at the hands of her previous owners. Like so many others, we were eager to work with authorities and do whatever we could to help find the perpetrators of this terrible crime. Unfortunately, it was not an easy task. Authorities did their best but they simply did not have enough evidence to make an arrest. As a result, they turned to the public for help in finding the culprits, asking anyone with information to come forward. We want to remind everyone that if you are aware of any wrongdoing involving animal cruelty, please do not hesitate to contact authorities. You could be saving a life.

Brooklinn Khoury: Our Dog Put Down
Brooklinn Khoury’s family was devastated when their beloved dog, Moose, passed away last week. Moose was a part of the family and Brooklinn loved her dog more than anything.
Moose always had a happy disposition and was always up for a game of fetch or a trip to the park. She was also very protective of her family and would never let anyone hurt them.
Unfortunately, Moose’s life came to an end due to old age. However, her memory will live on through her loved ones who will always miss her sweet personality and playful nature.

Brooklinn Khoury was a five year old golden retriever who died in October of this year. She was always so happy and loving, and we loved her very much. We always enjoyed taking her for walks or trips to the park, and she was always so curious and friendly.
Unfortunately, Brooklinn passed away due to an unknown illness. We are still trying to come to terms with her loss, and it feels like part of us is missing. We will never forget all the good times we had with her, and we hope that others can also get the chance to know her better.

Why We Had to Put Our Dog Down
Our dog, Brooklinn Khoury, had been with us for over six years and was an integral part of our family. She was always there for a cuddle or a scratch when we needed her, and she loved nothing more than going on vacation with us. Unfortunately, last week Brooklinn had to be put down due to her age and health conditions.
Brooklinn was born with a degenerative spine that made it difficult for her to walk and move around. As she got older, the condition only got worse, until she could no longer take care of herself and required constant medication and care. We were so sad to have to make this decision but knew it was the best thing for her.
We will never forget all the good times we shared with Brooklinn – from hiking trails in Oregon to beach days in California – and we know that she is now happy wherever she is. We hope that everyone who reads this story can learn from our experience and never give up on their pet just because they become elderly or disabled.
The Hardest Part of Putting Our Dog Down
The hardest part of putting our dog down was not the actual deed, but the days and weeks leading up to it. Each time we would go out walking her, or sit with her while she slept, we felt like we were taking a step closer to actually doing it.
But then something would happen that would push us back—like when she came over to us after getting lost in the neighborhood and sat down begging for forgiveness. We couldn’t bring ourselves to put her down again, so we petted her and promised that we’d find her a new home soon.
We knew it was only a matter of time before we had to follow through on our promise, but we hated every minute of it. We knew our dog was in pain and there was nothing we could do to make it better.
Eventually, though, reality set in and we had to face the fact that our dog was gone forever. It was hard to say goodbye, but at least she didn’t have to suffer anymore.
How We Gave Our Dog the Best Possible Life
Brooklinn Khoury is our dog and we love her very much. She has been with us for over a year now, and during that time she has given us so much happiness. We adopted her from the rescue group Home Again Animal Rescue when she was about three months old. At first, we were hesitant to get a dog because we were scared of how noisy they could be, but Brooklinn quickly won our hearts. She is an incredibly loving and gentle dog who loves to cuddle.
We have never had any problems with her behavior, aside from the occasional barking when she sees a squirrel or other animal on the street. Even though she barks sometimes, it’s nothing that can’t be fixed with some obedience training.
One of the things we love most about Brooklinn is that she is always happy. Whether it’s lying in our laps while we watch TV or just taking a lazy walk around the block, she always seems content. We think this is partly due to the fact that she has been given so many opportunities to run and play outdoors.
We are so grateful for all the happiness Brooklinn has brought into our lives and we know that there’s no way we could have gone through all of this without her!
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected death of our beloved Brooklinn Khoury. It was only yesterday that we found out she had a bacterial infection and after receiving treatment, she seemed to be on the mend. However, during the night her health took a turn for the worse and despite all our efforts, Brooklinn passed away shortly after sunrise this morning. We want to thank everyone who has sent their well wishes and condolences; they have been much appreciated. Our deepest sorrow goes out to Brooklinn’s foster family at this difficult time.
